About Us
International accreditation
Our Bachelor of Science Degree Program and Master of Science Degree Program are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan Accreditation Council (IEET). IEET is one of the signatory bodies of the Washington Accord which is an international agreement for accrediting engineering degree programs.
Therefore, our programs are recognized by other signatory bodies of Washington Accord, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Turkey and Russia, as having met the academic requirements for entry to the practice of engineering.
High-quality education
We offer courses in the following disciplines: structure engineering, geotechnical engineering, water resource engineering, surveying and spatial informatics, and construction management. With a dynamic mix of lectures and seminars, as well as practical lab sessions, our students become competitive and professional engineers. Our students also provide innovative solutions for a variety of engineering practice, and have a significant contribution to industrial upgrading.
Advanced space and facilities
There are twenty-five teaching and research laboratories dedicated to civil engineering. They are integrated into the Practice Learning Center. We ensure that students can actually participate and validate their knowledge and ability learned in class.
